Reverse Image Search: Tracks Where Photographic Work Appears
Reverse image search tools are powerful ways for photographers and artists to discover where their images are being used across the web. These technologies work much like facial recognition—but for visuals—helping to monitor usage, spot unauthorized sharing, and stay informed.

Google Images makes it easy: images can be simply drag and dropped into the search bar, and Google will scan its vast database for visually similar content. It’s a quick and effective way to see where works may be published or reposted.

Google Lens, available on mobile and desktop, offers even more functionality. It can identify objects, locations, and similar visuals, making it a versatile tool for both tracking and discovery.

PimEyes is another option, especially useful for portrait-based work. It specializes in facial recognition and offers robust tracking features for individuals and creatives concerned with personal image use.

These tools can be invaluable for protecting creative rights and understanding how work travels online.
