Judith Pishnery :: Photographer, Instructor/Mentor

Judith (Heberling) Pishnery has been immersed in the field of photography for over 25 years. She was always artistic, encouraged by her grandfather, and when she discovered photography her future was determined. She has worked with corporate, editorial and advertising clients creating images for brochures, magazines and other printed materials, throughout the US and abroad. Her fine art photographs have been shown and collected internationally. Along with creating photographs, she has been sharing her passion and expertise by teaching photography students in various art colleges and schools for more than 20 years. She leads creative photographic workshops in the US, including the Atlanta area and abroad and is currently a professor at SCAD/ Atlanta.

She is an Advisory Board Member of Atlanta Celebrates Photography and was previously an active Board member which began with her involvement during the early planning sessions in 1998. Bringing the photo community together - from photo enthusiasts to pros; sharing the art, craft and science of this dynamic medium; and showing the diversity and fun that can be part of photography are her goals.

Her company - Pisconeri Workshops provide expert, dynamic, creative, learning experiences. The Workshops are an opportunity to learn from a professional photographer and educator through hands-on-instruction, field trips, and travel experiences, bringing together the worlds of photography, art, history, travel and exploration for the creative mind. Each workshop is specially designed for the photography enthusiast (beginner to pro) and will explore and experiment with techniques, methods and creative processes to expand the visual content and technical expertise of the photograph. Locations include: Florence & the Tuscan countryside; Paris; Provence; and the Southeast US. Workshops consist of small groups to insure an intimate and individualized, productive atmosphere.
